Born and raised in İzmir, Ms.Atalay completed her secondary education at İzmir Bornova Anatolian High School. After graduating with honors from the Faculty of Law at İzmir University of Economics in 2020, she pursued her LL.M. in “Law and Digital Technologies” at Leiden University during the 2023–2024 academic year, expanding her expertise to an international level.
Att. Melek Ece Atalay has participated in academic conferences, including CPDP (Computers, Privacy and Data Protection) — one of the world’s most prominent platforms in the field — and has been actively involved in research groups focusing on technology and data protection law.
She has been a registered attorney with the İzmir Bar Association since 2021. Within our firm, she applies her strong command of both local and international legal frameworks to deliver effective, innovative, and compliance-oriented legal solutions.
Ms. Atalay is also a member of the İzmir Turkish American Association.
